Today LaDanian Tomlinson announced that he is signing a one-day contract with the Chargers to retire as a Charger. LT spent 9 seasons with the Chargers. He had a 28 touchdown season and finished fifth on the all-time rushing list with 18,456 yards. He finished his career without a Super Bowl, but made the pro bowl 9 times.

The question now becomes if he is a sure Hall of Famer. A lot of people look at the fact that he never won a championship and use that as a reason for him not making the Hall of Fame. In my opinion, though he was the best RB of the last decade and there is no question that when eligible he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Not only was a he a great runner he also had a 100 catch season in 2003. Along with that, the guy was a leader and a great teammate to everyone. LT will probably be a reporter after he retires and I am sure he will be as good a reporter as he was a running back. Good luck LT
